As IT Manager Sam is responsible for BDO IT infrastructure, ensuring users are able to work efficiently and seamlessly in their day-to-day tasks. Working closely with the Chief Digital Officer, Sam ensures that the BDO platform is able to support both existing user requirements, whilst also being capable of sustaining growth and development and supporting future business goals.
Sam has over 15 years experience within the IT industry. Mainly client-facing, Sam has worked for, and with, a number of local firms, joining BDO from a local technology firm where he provided support to BDO and others as an external contractor.
Sam has always been proud of his client relationships, understanding the needs of users and always willing to assist and support in numerous diverse environments.
With exposure to numerous sectors and businesses this provides Sam with a broad range of skills and experience that allows him to implement and manage projects of varying complexities.
Keen to embrace the latest technology trends, Sam is always looking to adopt solutions that ensure robust and user-friendly solutions that facilitate business evolution and stability. Understanding the business case and then being able to then directly implement those changes provides Sam with the ability to support BDO and their clients on a number of levels from initial design and consultation, to final implementation and maintenance.
