Michael Bateman

Michael leads the Applications Practice, delivering tailored technology solutions to local and global clients. With over 15 years of experience across the Channel Islands, Michael has a strong track record in improving business efficiency through the strategic use of IT.

A Computer Science graduate from the University of Southampton, Michael began his career in software development before moving into consultancy. He is highly skilled across Microsoft technologies, spanning low-code solutions with Dynamics 365 and Power Platform through to custom development in C#. Michael frequently acts as solution architect, ensuring that client requirements are met with scalable, futureproof solutions.

Michael is PRINCE2 qualified and holds Microsoft certifications covering SQL databases, server infrastructure, Azure, and Dynamics. His experience spans both cloud and on-premises environments, with a focus on long-term client value and operational resilience.

Key projects include:

• Leading the global rollout of a central customer management system for an offshore bank
• Delivering a COVID-19 border and screening solution in collaboration with local government and Microsoft
• Designing investment management systems for reporting, portfolio management, and fee structuring
