BDO Jersey appoints new Head of Audit

BDO Jersey is pleased to announce the appointment of Bill Glancy as Head of Audit & Assurance. 

Bill brings over 20 years of experience in the audit and assurance sector, having relocated to Jersey in 2001 and has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) since 2005. Bill worked for BDO Jersey previously, leaving in 2022 to pursue other opportunities.

His expertise spans investment structures across all major asset classes including private equity and real estate, as well as regulated entities including trust and corporate service providers, fund administrators and fund managers.

Bill sits on the Executive Committee of the Jersey Society of Chartered & Certified Accountants (JSCCA) as Vice President.

In his new role, Bill will lead the Audit & Assurance practice at BDO, ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit and assurance services to clients while mentoring the growing audit team and supporting growth initiatives.

Bill brings a wealth of experience in delivering audit and assurance services, particularly within the trust, corporate, and fund services sectors. His expertise will be invaluable in supporting both our team members and clients, ensuring they thrive in today’s dynamic environment. Supported by our multi-disciplinary Group services, including accounting, tax, advisory, technology, and training, Bill will help tailor our services to meet our clients’ evolving needs now and into the future.
